There are 20 single rooms, with some en-suite, and 3 double rooms.
You may bring in small furniture, but please discuss with the manager what you intend to bring when you come to Westside. Televisions and other electrical equipment can be brought into the home subject to electrical safety checks, which the electrical engineer will carry out. All rooms are fully furnished.
Nurse call system is installed in every room, bathrooms and toilets. There is also a portable call system for the lounge and dining room.
All rooms have lockable facilities. However, although Westside Nursing Home will keep valuable small items in the safe box, items valued above £25.00 should be taken to a relative's house.
You can get up and retire to bed at your own pace and time, just inform the staff.
Westside Nursing Home operates a transparency philosophy, therefore for the safety of all the residents, the home operates a locked system for the doors. The home is located on a busy main road. Therefore residents who want to go out are accompanied by a member of staff. All visitors sign in and out of the building to comply with fire safety regulations.

Westside Nursing Home is non-smoking. There is a designated smoking area provided outside the main building.
Visitors are welcome at any time, however, we would prefer if you could avoid visiting during meal times.
